Conor McGregor Says Floyd Mayweather Could Excel At Mixed-Martial-Arts

After being stopped in the 10th round in their mega-fight last Saturday, UFC star Conor McGregor has said that he believes unbeaten American boxer Floyd Mayweather could excel at mixed martial arts. McGregor said that Mayweather, known for his savvy boxing technique and defensive skills, could successfully make the transition from boxing to the world of mixed-martial-arts as he is also “a solid fighter.” In an Instagram post, McGregor said Mayweather is: “Strong in the clinch [with a] great understanding of frames and head position. He has some very strong tools he could bring into an MMA game for sure.”
