High temperature calcined mica tape is made from calcined mica paper and non-alkali fiberglass cloth and high-temperature silicone as the adhesive which are baked in a high temperature at a constant velocity, and then cut
into tapes with a special slitter. It is now mainly used for the manufacturing of fire-resistant electric wire and cable.
The narrowest high temperature calcined mica tape is 5mm wide.
