ZS06 optical fiber coloring and rewinding equipment is mainly used to color the surface of optical fibers and makes it easy to identify the multi-fibers within the loose tube. Also used to rewind fibers and coat the nylon-tighted fibers with the silicon gel.

4The description of all the units

4.1 Movable optical fiber pay-off unit

The device includes suspended shaft pay-off unit and moving unit.The pay off unit is driven by an AC servomotor and the optical fiber is paid off positively. The moving unit is driven by an AC servomotor. In order that the optical fiber can be paid off positively and align automatically, the pay-off unit moves on the linear orbit by a ball screw pole. Japan Panasonic AC servo system is adopted in the pay-off and moving units. The pay-off motor power is 1KW. The moving unit motor power is 400W.

 

4.2 Direction control unit

The device includes the approaching switch, the controlling loop and the rotating unit. In order to control the movement of the movable optical fiber pay-off unit, the position of the optical fiber on the direction control unit can be detected by the approaching switch.

 

4.3 Take-up and pay-off tension control unit

The device includes guide wheel unit, rotating unit and dancer. The swaying bar and guide wheel is made of light aluminum alloy. The dancer swaying controls the take-up and pay-off motor through a sensor for synchronism. The optical fiber tension can be adjusted by pneumatic system.

 

4.4 Fiber coloring and material supply system

The pressure coating system is made up of a coating cup, a cup model, a heater, a stand, gas circuit and so on. The temperature of the heater can be displayed on the thermometer by the temperature sensor. The coating thickness of the optical fiber can be controlled by the die of the cup model.

 

4.5 UV Curing Oven (Curing power 7.5kw)

The device is made up of a reflector, a UV bulb, a quartz tube and an air-extracted system etc. After coloring in the fiber coating and material supply system, the coating material of optical fiber is cured in the UV curing Oven. For the high speed of the coloring, the curing is committed in space that is filled with inert gas.

 

4.6 Capstan and counter unit

The device includes a pulling wheel, a belt and a servomotor. The capstan is controlled by 750W Panasonic AC servo system. After going through the traction unit, the optical fiber is drawn by the friction between the belt and capstan wheel. The accuracy of the counter is 2‰.

 

4.7 Traversing guiding wheel unit

The device is mainly used for take-up and traversing, which includes a small guiding pulley, a stand and so on.

 

4.8 Take-up and traversing unit

The device is a suspended beam shaft structure. The AC servo motor drives a synchronous belt to rotate the take-up reel at a certain speed-down ratio. A 1KW Panasonic AC servo system is adopted.The traversing device is driven by the wide-range speed-changing DC motor which is rotating the ball screw at a certain speed-down ratio through a synchronous tooth belt. The traversing motor is 400W and it is controlled by the Panasonic AC servo system.The principle of the direction changing:While the optical fiber reel traversing at a low speed, the signal of the reel width is collected. The pulse output of the motor coder is used to count the number so that the changing of direction is achieved.The photoelectric switch controls the direction changing and the position is adjustable.

 

4.9 Frame unit

The device is made of the excellent aluminum bars, which are connected with screws, nuts and reinforcing bars.

 

4.10 Button station

The device is made up of suspended beam type operational screen and function buttons. The screen is a touching screen. The parameters of the fiber coloring and the rewinding can be operated on the button station.

 

4.11 Release static system

Because of the high speed of the running of the machine, the friction between the optical fiber and the pulley wheel produces the static, in order to release the static, the release static system is equipped.

The release static system includes a high voltage power, a release static bar and a release static loop.

 

4.12 Electric control system and software

Japan Panasonic AC servo system and SIEMENS PLC control system are adopted in the device. The PLC system consists of S7-300 series. The combination of touching screen and PLC ensures the synchronous operation of the whole production line and individual operation of equipment. Through operating the touching screen, users can observe and set the craft parameters. Producing states, such the motor start & stop, the signal setting, the speed of the motor etc., are collected and controlled by the PLC. Data transfer between the operation panel and the PLC is achieved by the communication interface. The system has functions such as producing operation, alarm display, emergency stop etc.

Low-voltage electronic appliances of SIEMENS are adopted, such as air switches, contactors and so on.

Power supply is three-phase and five-wire system.

All equipment's wires connected to the earth and shells are grounded reliably.

 

5The condition and protection for the equipment

5.1 Keep the equipment far away from the vibrating source and the disturbing source.

5.2 The nitrogen source and the compressed air source should be provided by the users. The purity of the Nitrogen is 99.9%. The supply capacity is 30L/min. The pressure of the compressed air is 0.5Mpa. The pressed air must be dry and without oil.
